My name is Terrance Cooley! I am a cyber threat hunter by trade who serves as a strategic human resources advisor and motivational speaker. My experiences leading highly-effective, collaborative teams have guided my principle belief that diverse and inclusive teams unlock and drive unprecedented innovation once they feel trusted, valued, and empowered.

Building truly positive employee relations requires the creation of spaces safe for failure, actively equipping talent with effective training, and maximizing opportunities for work autonomy. My expertise in digital forensics, risk assessment and compliance, and data analytics is central to my ability to unearth, pinpoint, and translate key insights into the organizational policies and transformative changes that foster such a level of psychological safety.

I have what's been called an uncanny ability to connect with people across levels and backgrounds with infectious enthusiasm, relatable lived experiences, and a willingness to actively listen and empathize. These traits have been powerful motivators in my journey through a non-traditional career path as a lifelong learner.

With an endless passion for positive change driving me, I also serve as a NASA Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Practitioner, previously taught at Fullstack Academy as an Adjunct Instructor of Cybersecurity, and am a retired Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) certified Licensed Resource Parent with over 23 thousand hours of servant leadership.

A firm believer in the value of a multidisciplinary leadership approach, I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology (IT) Management and Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, and I am certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

My long career as a problem solver, negotiator, project manager, motivational speaker, and change agent focused on the intersection of people and technology has always been inspired by the people I meet and serve; let's connect! I'd love to hear your story!
