John Ferguson

John Ferguson currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for NASCAR, the American Auto Racing sanctioning and operating company that is best known for stock car racing. NASCAR is the leading promoter of motorsports activities and sanctions more than 1,200 races in over 30 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. In his role as CHRO, John is responsible for the development and execution of NASCAR’s human resource planning in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. With headquarters in Daytona Beach, FL, and offices throughout the United States, he helps to employ and evaluate career paths, oversee all HR functions and implement special tactics to help meet NASCAR’s targeted goals.
